The Design
The sloping front garden was organised into a series of generous terraces using Cotswold walling stone. Broad steps create a clear route to the entrance, while gravel surfaces provide a restrained backdrop for the structured planting.
Clipped Ligustrum topiary gives the garden year-round form and rhythm. Its repeated shapes soften the stonework without weakening the formal character of the design.
